In April 2020, I read a total of 6 books.

The books I read were (in chronological order) The Scarlet Letter by Nathaniel Hawthorne (⭐️⭐️⭐️/5), Born to Dance by Jordan Matter (⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5), Lean on Me by Pat Simmons (⭐⭐️/5), The Red Badge of Courage by Stephen Crane (⭐️⭐⭐️/5), The Sirens of Titan by Kurt Vonnegut (⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5), and Animal Farm by George Orwell (⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐⭐️/5).

The longest book I read this month was The Sirens of Titan by Kurt Vonnegut, which is 319 pages long, and the shortest book I read this month was Animal Farm by George Orwell (a reread), which is 141 pages long.

I read a total of 1,396 pages, with the length of the books I read averaging at about 233 pages per book.

My favorite book I read this month was The Sirens of Titan by Kurt Vonnegut, and my least favorite book I read this month was Lean on Me by Pat Simmons.

I averaged about one and a half books per week, and 47 pages per day. I also averaged about four out of five stars.

Overall, this was a decent month for me, with half of the books I read receiving five stars, but the other half receiving two to three stars, and I’m hopeful that May will be a better reading month!
